Sophie and Mommy had a great afternoon playing in the snow!

Mommy took Sophie to get her very first haircut today. We were a little torn (still are) about having it done, but her hair was pretty long up front and if we didn’t pull it back she had kind of a rough time seeing anything but hair. So, she now has some bangs and got a little trimmed in the back.

She looks darn cute!

During our trip to Florida we visited the Miami Metrozoo. I felt it deserved its own post because of how many pictures we took while there. Sophie loved the zoo (so did the rest of us)! We haven’t sorted through all of the pictures, yet, but we will and we’ll get them posted as soon as possible. Please check back soon!

So, we took a family trip to Fort Lauderdale, FL, the first part of January. We got a lot of pictures (which we’re still sorting through) from the house we stayed in (Thank you to Nonna and Pap Pap for letting us stay with you), the beach, and just out and about. We’ll have them posted soon so please check back soon!

We made a visit to Santa last night; however, Sophie wasn’t so sure about telling him what she wanted this year.

So, Daddy made an attempt to put my hair up with a hairband. Not the best attempt, but it’s keeping the hair out of my eyes at least.

Sophie’s first time trick or treating for Halloween. She was dressed up as a scary spider! She even got to eat some of the candy she was given.

Sophie loves to watch the Vikings play!

Nonna and Pap Pap sent Sophie some slippers from their hometown team to keep her feet warm.

Nonna and Pap Pap stopped at a store after getting in for their visit and bought Sophie something fun to wear!

We made it out to a nearby apple orchard that has some horses and a small petting zoo. Sophie loved the animals and even got to “ride” a few.
